DA MAN Fashion Feature: Shawn Roberts
Shawn Roberts stars in the new film “Resident Evil: Retribution” where he reprises his role as the villainous Albert Wesker. He shows off a different side of his personality in this exclusive fashion photo shoot by Yann Bean.
Shawn Roberts started off his acting career playing the bad guy: his first role was that of the Big Bad Wolf in a a school play. Since then he has appeared in a wide variety of TV shows and films, everything from high school drama “Degrassi: The Next Generation” to superhero blockbuster “X-Men.” One might say zombie films are a specialty of his – he appeared in two of undead auteur George A. Romero’s films, Diary of the Dead and Land of the Dead. In his newest film, Resident Evil: Retribution, he once again plays Albert Wesker, the villainous head of the film series’ chief antagonist, the zombie manufacturing Umbrella Corporation.

1) One of my most memorable experiences was… camping with my family as a kid.

Shawn to star in a new movie called “Somebody Else”
Our very own Shawn Roberts will star in a new independent movie called “Somebody Else”. He will play the role of “Ryan”. The official website of the movie has already listed him as official cast, so it’s no longer a rumour. It was first rumoured that he will star in the movie, but it’s now official. I’m excited to see what the movie will be like. The description sounds amazing and the website looks impressive aswell. There are no official pictures or videos yet, seeing as they haven’t started filming. Let’s keep our fingers crossed… if new information become available, I will of course publish them on Shawn-Roberts.net.
DARA JOHNSTON (18) sits in a police interrogation room. She always wanted to be somebody else, but she never wanted to kill and die for it.
Abandoned by her parents, Dara is destitute until she learns street smarts from BREE, a middle class junkie. The two fall for each other as they rob Johns. When a robbery goes awry, they are thrown into juvenile detention where their relationship strengthens as they clean up their acts. Bree turns eighteen and is released first, and when Dara is finally released on her eighteenth birthday, she needs to reconnect with Bree, now living across the country.
Lacking the funds and her parole officer’s permission, Dara nonetheless sets off to be with Bree. Dara hitches a ride with RYAN (late-20s), an attractive hustler, and HEATHER (21), a rich party girl. When Dara finds herself in the middle of Ryan’s schemes, she becomes entangled in the hustler’s plot and winds up trapped in a police interrogation room impersonating Heather.
